The JAZZ N BLUES ENTERTAINMENT GROUP was started after my husband passed away suddenly from heart problems.
In honor of his profession and his memory, I decided to start a magazine that would market other musicians as I had been doing for him before his passing. I had no background in publishing or in putting a magazine together, but in my soul felt it was the right thing to do.
The first issue was put together by me and printed by Kinkos. The first distribution location was the 7-11 market down the street from our house. My attitude was…’ Let’s see what happens if people are interested and pick this up. 1 week later, I returned to find out that all of them had been picked up by their clients.
SO here I am…years later, through all of the ups and downs of starting a company, and excited because we have just added our own Radio Show to the list of what we are offering our Advertising Clients and Sponsors.
God has blessed me so many times since that past moment when I thought I had lost everything.
